      Just north of Holetown, on Barbados's famed West Coast, is a small collection of delightful Mediterranean-styled, three-bedroom residences that sit right on the beach.  The intimacy of this setting is one key factor that attracts repeat visitors who savor the easy access to a rather quiet, pristine, palm-fringed, crescent-shaped, white-sand beach, and appreciate the seclusion afforded by fragrant, colorful, mature tropical gardens that conceal neighboring accommodations. 

 

     BB406 is a charming three-bedroom villa configured over three floors.  This cozy and comfortable, free-standing vacation home is nestled amongst a haven of eight split-level houses that surround a large, shared, resort-style swimming pool.  A low embankment with steps directs visitors down to the beach, only a stone's throw away.

     The entrance, living room, dining room, and covered dining terrace -  which has sea views - are located on the main level of the villa.  Situated on the upper level is the Master Suite which boasts a furnished terrace offering a lovely vista of the turquoise sea.  A Guest Bedroom (#2) on this level captures the delightful tropical breezes and perfume from the gardens.  The other Guest Bedroom (#3) is on the lower level and has direct access to the deck of the villa's private plunge pool - one of this vacation home's special features.

     From the main sundeck, steps lead to the secluded beach - ideal for swimming and snorkeling - directly in front.  In addition, there is a shared, resort-style swimming pool just a stone's throw away to enjoy when guests feel the desire to mingle with the new friends made while residing inside this private enclave.

     Rental of BB406 includes the services of a housekeeper and cook (three meals per day) - a rare amenity for a villa in this price range - to help guests relax during their stay.  The villa is about a mile or so north of Holetown, which dates back to the early 1600s and the island's first town, and is home to the open-air Limegrove Shopping Centre which features over 100 of the world's most notable designer brands (many at duty-free prices).  There's an art gallery, movie theater, spa, banks and variety of coffee shops, restaurants and nightlife as well.  Additional shopping, restaurants, bars et al can be found in nearby Speightstown.

     Children are welcome.  No pets.  Guests are well advised to have us rent a car or retain a driver on call during their stay.
