     VHR, WORLDWIDE was the first villa rental company to offer a wide variety of highly desirable accommodations, from cozy cottages and value-priced condominiums and townhouses to sumptuous villas, distinguished estates and exclusive private islands throughout the 700-island archipelago that comprise The Islands of The Bahamas.  

 

     Our company established and supervised homeowner rental programs in Treasure Cay (Abaco) and Windermere Island (Eleuthera) with great success, putting both of these exceptional locations on the map.  

 

     Our sister company, Marketing in Motion, also managed reservations for Compass Point in Nassau and Kamalame Cay on Andros, providing the highest occupancy levels of guests in their resorts' history.     

 

     The President of VHR, WORLDWIDE has been going to Treasure Cay - where her family owns several vacation homes - for over 30 years.  It is here in this idyllic, low-key and friendly resort area, which boasts one of the Top 10 Most Beautiful Beaches in the World (National Geographic) that VHR, WORLDWIDE was established in 1982.  So, one can appreciate why promoting Treasure Cay poses quite a dilemma for us.  On one hand, we absolutely love the community and its local residents and want to keep it just as it is - quiet, reserved, and a very special place for people "in the know".  On the other hand, our Treasure Cay rental program has been hugely successful, introducing individuals and families to an extraordinary hidden locale to create wonderful memories, which makes us very happy.  Some of our former guests fell in love with the community and have even become homeowners there.  

 

     We also recognize that our guests who rent properties from us here help support the local shops, grocery stores, restaurants, beach bars, merchants, banks, and service providers (car, golf cart, boat, and watersports rentals; housekeepers, cooks, nannies, etc.) in Treasure Cay and also in nearby Marsh Harbour, Green Turtle Cay, May-o-War Cay, Guana Cay.    

 

     We are avid boaters, sailors, anglers, scuba divers, and snorkelers.  We spend countless hours combing the beautiful Bahamian pink-white sandy beaches for sand dollars, starfish, seashells, and sea urchins.  Our staff works closely with our friends and colleagues at the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Out Island Promotion Board so that we maintain a finger on the pulse of what is happening in the islands.  VHR, WORLDWIDE has supported BASRA (Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association www.basra.org), the search and rescue charitable organization that is dedicated to saving lives at sea.  Perhaps most importantly is that we are well acquainted with these islands and their different personalities to ensure a perfect match.

 

     The properties we represent are found throughout The Islands of The Bahamas, including the more popular islands - such as Grand Bahama (Freeport/Lucaya) and New Providence (Nassau/Paradise Island) - as well as our favorite 'secret hideaways', the Out Islands (a/k/a Family Islands).  Some of our larger villas may offer a reduced rate depending on the number of bedrooms/guests.  So, if you find one you especially like and it seems too large for your needs, check the description and rate details ~ you may be pleasantly surprised!
